Join the Civmec Team

Civmec is expanding across major construction projects throughout Western Australia, and we’re seeking skilled Engineers Electrical to join our growing Construction division. These long‑term opportunities span multiple sites, where you’ll support the planning, coordination, and technical delivery of major structural, mechanical, and piping works. We offer 2:1 FIFO and DIDO rosters, working within high‑performing teams committed to safety, quality, and innovation.

This role offers the chance to apply your technical expertise, collaborate with experienced multidisciplinary teams, and play a key part in delivering high‑impact electrical systems and solutions.

The Role

Ensuring project construction activities within the electrical scope are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specificationsManaging electrical and instrumentation engineering / technical queries on site
Prepare work packs, method statements and other construction related information in a timely manner as required to support the work schedule
Investigate and resolve engineering technical related problems and provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of construction managers, superintendents, and contractors.
Understand and implement quality control techniques
Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed
Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

Bachelor’s in electrical engineering
Previous project experience on major construction projects
Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, or equivalent tools meets the competency requirements for the completion system.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise technical reports and documents
Experience working within a multi-discipline project team and focus on building effective relationships and influencing stakeholders
Previous knowledge working at construction sites as an engineer
