· Interpreting technical drawings, job specifications, and sample products to identify production requirements and dimensions.
· Assessing machinery, tooling, and operational processes needed to complete manufacturing tasks efficiently.
· Preparing woodworking equipment and materials, ensuring timber stock is correctly positioned and ready for cutting, shaping, turning, planing, and sanding operations.
· Operating a variety of woodworking machines to fabricate components according to required specifications.
· Restoring surfaces by removing existing coatings using abrasives, solvents, chemical strippers, and scraping techniques.
· Applying finishing materials such as stains, paints, lacquers, varnishes, and shellac, followed by polishing and waxing to achieve a high-quality finish.
· Assembling and securing frame components using appropriate fastening methods to ensure structural integrity.
· Installing backing boards, artwork, photographs, and other materials into frames, ensuring accurate alignment and professional presentation.
Qualifications: Certificate IV or higher in relevant field.
Pay: $78,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
