About Delour Enterprises
Delour Enterprises Pty Ltd is a rapidly growing Australian utilities and infrastructure services company specialising in water infrastructure maintenance and asset replacement.
We’re currently expanding our Water Infrastructure Division and are looking for motivated subcontractors who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and want the opportunity to build a long-term contracting career with a professional and supportive company.
Whether you’re an experienced plumber, civil worker, landscaper, labourer or someone with strong construction experience, we’d like to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Water Meter Installation Subcontractor, you’ll be responsible for:
- Replacing residential water meter manifolds
- Excavating around existing water services
- Using power tools to remove and replace pipework
- Installing new manifold assemblies
- Pressure testing completed installations
- Reinstating excavation areas to a high standard
- Recording completed works using a mobile application
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and professionalism
- Representing Delour Enterprises professionally when interacting with customers
This is a physically active outdoor role suited to individuals who enjoy working with their hands and take pride in producing quality workmanship.
What’s On Offer
Competitive Payment Rates
- $55 per completed Soft Surface Manifold Exchange
- $110 per completed Hard Surface Manifold Exchange
Guaranteed Weekly Performance Income Program*
Our subcontractors are rewarded for productivity and quality.
Using our Performance Unit (PU) system:
- 1 Soft Surface Installation = 1 Performance Unit
- 1 Hard Surface Installation = 2 Performance Units
Eligible subcontractors who achieve the following weekly performance targets may qualify for:
- 30 Performance Units – $1,850
- 35 Performance Units – $2,100
- 40 Performance Units – $2,500 (includes a $150 Performance Bonus)
Outstanding performers also receive a 20% increase in installation rates for additional completed work after exceeding 40 Performance Units in the same week.
*Program applies to eligible subcontractors who meet Delour Enterprises’ quality, safety and compliance standards. Full details will be provided during onboarding.
Superannuation
Delour Enterprises Pty Ltd is committed to supporting the long-term financial wellbeing of our subcontractors.
In addition to the competitive installation rates outlined above, subcontractors will receive 12.5% superannuation on their net earnings, in accordance with the terms of our Subcontractor Services Agreement and applicable Australian legislation.
Superannuation contributions will be paid into your nominated complying Australian superannuation fund.
Paid Training
No previous water meter experience?
No problem.
Successful applicants will complete our structured training and induction program.
You’ll receive:
- $750 Paid Training & Induction
- Ongoing mentoring
- Field support from experienced supervisors
- Continuous coaching to maximise your productivity

Vehicle Options
Choose the option that best suits your business.
Option 1 – Bring Your Own Ute
If supplying your own vehicle, you’ll need:
- Registered utility vehicle
- Comprehensive insurance
- Roadworthy Certificate (where applicable)
- Reliable condition suitable for commercial work
Option 2 – Lease One of Ours
Don’t have a suitable ute?
Lease one of our fully maintained company utility vehicles for $350 per week.
Tools Required
Subcontractors are required to supply their own tools, including (or equivalent):
- Reciprocating Saw
- Hammer Drill
- Angle Grinder
- Water Vacuum Pump
- Cordless Tool Kit
- Shovels
- General plumbing hand tools
- PPE

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in any of the following industries is highly regarded:
- Plumbing

- Earthworks

- Labouring
- Mechanical Trades
We also welcome applicants with strong construction experience and a willingness to learn.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Current ABN
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- White Card
- Blue Card (or willingness to obtain if required)
- Reliable mobile phone with internet access
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Commitment to safety and quality
