Do you have a passion for interior design, colour, style, and helping customers bring their dream spaces to life?
As a Retail Sales Consultant, you'll work closely with homeowners, renovators, builders, and designers, guiding them through the selection of tiles, flooring, bathroomware, and finishing products for their projects. From creating stunning bathroom concepts to helping customers choose products that suit their style and budget, you'll play an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This is a customer-focused showroom role where you'll combine your design flair, relationship-building skills, and product knowledge to inspire customers and help them make confident design decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide expert advice on tiles, flooring, bathroomware, and interior design solutions
- Assist customers in creating beautiful bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces that suit their style and needs
- Build strong relationships with retail, renovation, and trade customers
- Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and follow up on customer enquiries
- Stay informed on the latest interior design trends, colours, and products
- Deliver a premium showroom experience that exceeds customer expectations
- Support the team in achieving sales targets and business objectives
- Assist with maintaining showroom presentation and merchandising standards
Skills and Experiences:
ABOUT YOU...
- Passionate about interior design, home styling, renovation, or creating beautiful spaces
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, design consultation, or a similar customer-facing role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to confidently guide customers through design and product decisions
- A proactive, positive, and team-focused attitude
- Experience with tiles, flooring, bathroomware, furniture, kitchens, or home improvement products will be highly regarded
- An eye for colour, style, and design trends
