Full Job Description

Your new role:
As an Administration Officer within the Nursing Resource Unit, you will support nursing workforce operations by coordinating rosters, managing staffing allocations and assisting with workforce management activities. Working closely with Nurse Managers and key stakeholders, you will help deliver efficient staffing solutions that support quality patient care.

You will,

Maintain accurate staff rosters, time and attendance records, and workforce data within rostering systems.
Coordinate unplanned leave processes, source replacement staff and assist with resource redeployment.
Respond to rostering and payroll enquiries while managing high volumes of calls and emails professionally.
Provide administrative support across workforce planning, agency bookings, reporting, meetings and operational activities.

About you:
You are highly organised, detail-focused and thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.

You will have,

Strong administration and rostering experience with excellent attention to detail.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn workforce management systems.
Excellent communication, phone etiquette and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven ability to prioritise competing tasks, solve problems and maintain accuracy under pressure.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
