Production Supervisor

Location: 56 Beulah Road, Norwood SA 5067
Employment Type: Full-Time, 38 hours per week, Permanent
Salary: $75,000–$80,000 AUD annually

We are the foundation of the Kinetics Group, specialising in the design and manufacture of innovative equipment for the trade and commercial vehicle industry. Better known today as KRS Australia, we are industry leaders in high-quality vehicle upfitting solutions, including our world-class roof rack systems and mobile hand-wash units.

With a vertically integrated supply chain supporting over 150 local jobs, we pride ourselves on being agile and responsive to the evolving needs of tradespeople and commercial fleets. We are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee and organise our equipment, staff, and processes on the production floor at our Norwood headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Floor Oversight: Responsible for overseeing and organising the equipment, staff, and processes on the production floor to ensure seamless operations.
Scheduling & Operations: Oversee scheduling and routine production activities, acting as the first-line troubleshooting point should technical or operational problems arise.
Machinery Maintenance: Oversee the operation of production machinery and manage the set-up, cleaning, and maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
Quality Control: Lead product inspections and manage quality control processes to ensure every product meets our high standards and industry regulations.
Team Leadership: Direct daily staff activities, prepare rosters, and monitor team performance to ensure production targets and safety standards are met.
Operational Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment status, and employee performance summaries.

Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a supervisory role on a production floor within a manufacturing (advanced manufacturing preferred), engineering, or industrial environment.
Demonstrated experience in overseeing complex production machinery and maintenance schedules.
Strong frontline leadership capabilities with a track record of coordinating and motivating a diverse team.
High level of accuracy in record-keeping and a meticulous approach to product quality control.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to provide immediate troubleshooting on a fast-paced production floor.
Excellent communication skills for effective coordination across departments.

Education & Qualifications:

At least a Certificate IV in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a closely related field is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualification levels (e.g., Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field).
