Full Job Description

Our Augustus Gelatery Echuca store are on the hunt for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking Store Manager to join our gelato team!

We pride ourselves on creating a positive experience for our customers and hope to create a team who will do the same. What we will be looking for is a bubbly gelato lover who is reliable, eager and who has previous hospitality and/or retail experience. Management or leadership experience is highly preferred.

As Store Manager you will be expected to manage a small team, complete rosters, implement policies and procedures and uphold Head Office expectations. Excellent organisation and communication skills are a must!

We pride ourselves on creating a positive experience for our customers and hope to create a team who will do the same. A manager who can create a fun and positive working environment is essential!

Responsibilities include:

Oversee daily operations of the store to maintain smooth procedures
Maintain store cleanliness and appearance
Managing teams
Weekly rostering
Hiring and training new staff
Communicate between head office and employees
Ordering of stock and supplies through head office
Performance appraisals
Conduct staff meetings

This is a casual position. The store will be open 365 days so applicants must have high and flexible availability including a mixture of days, late nights and weekend work.

The position paid under Fast Food Industry Award rates.
