Job description

Hilal Meat Products Company, a leading player in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking an Electrician to join our team in our Echuca facility. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in our well-established meat production operations.

About you:

You must be reliable, physically fit and willing to work as part of a team.
You understand the importance of good hygiene.
You have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process.
Ability to commute/relocate: Echuca, VIC 3564: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

About the Role:

examining blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operation
measuring and laying out installation reference points
selecting, cutting and connecting wire and cable to terminals and connectors
using electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faults
repairing and replacing faulty wiring and defective parts
positioning and installing electrical switchboards
connecting electrical systems to power supply
testing continuity of circuit
installing, testing and adjusting electric and mechanical parts of lifts
installing, testing and commissioning solar photo voltaic (PV) power generation systems

Required:

2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Relevant Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or relevant Certificate IV.
