As one of our Tour Guides and Gold Pourers, you’ll become the face of an iconic WA experience. Your days will be filled with storytelling, showmanship, and a touch of alchemy as you bring the magic of gold to life for visitors from around the world.

What you’ll be doing:

Lead unforgettable tours for school groups, tourists, media crews, corporate guests, and VIPs — from politicians to film and TV personalities.
Steal the show in the Melting House, performing live gold‑pour demonstrations for crowds of up to 75 people as you transform molten metal into a gleaming 150oz gold bar.
Master a 30‑minute scripted performance, delivering it with flair, confidence, and theatrical charm.
Be a safety champion, confidently guiding visitors through safety and emergency procedures.
Get creative by designing custom medallions using specialised software.
Engrave and sell personalised medallions — including solid gold pieces — to visitors and corporate clients (yes, even bulk orders).
Connect with a diverse global audience, sharing your knowledge of the gold industry and The Perth Mint’s rich history.
Represent the Mint at major events, including tourism showcases and WA Week.
Work flexibly, with availability across weekdays and weekends.
Prioritise safety, ensuring your actions support a healthy and secure workplace for everyone.

What you bring:

A second language is a big plus — especially Cantonese, Japanese, or Mandarin.
A passion for customer service and creating memorable experiences.
Confidence in public speaking — you enjoy being in front of a crowd.
Bonus points for theatrical or performance experience.
