About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mental Health Clinician (0–25 years) to join our Community Mental Health Services team. In this pivotal role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based, and recovery-focused care to children, young people and their families across Gippsland.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will:

Conduct timely assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions in line with best practice.

Provide individual, family and group interventions within a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive framework.

Work collaboratively with consumers, carers and community services to promote recovery and wellbeing.

Contribute to safety planning, discharge planning and ongoing treatment reviews.
-
Support the implementation of the Optimal Health Program and other recovery-oriented initiatives.
This role is part of a 7-day rotating roster and reports clinically to the 0-25yrs Clinical Lead and operationally to the Site Team Manager.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:

Tertiary qualifications and current registration as a Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Social Worker, or Speech Pathologist.

At least 2 years’ experience in mental health, or in working with children and young people.

Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, crisis management and care planning.

An ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
-
A commitment to recovery-focused, family-inclusive and culturally safe practice.

Current driver’s licence.
