Full Job Description

Welcome to Naturaliste Charters Whale Watching! As part of our team, your role is essential to keeping the office running smoothly and maintaining our strong online presence. Here’s an outline of what’s expected in your position:

Assist customers with bookings using the Rezdy booking platform, respond to email enquiries, and answer phone calls, ensuring guests have a seamless experience.
Liaise with the crew on the boat to ensure clear communication and coordination between the office and the tours.
Maintain cleanliness in the office.
Develop and execute a social media plan for platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring content is pre-scheduled for consistent posting. (Work with management to make an achievable plan and finding a good balance between our products & platforms).
Research trending hashtags and songs to enhance social media engagement and create engaging reels from existing footage.

· Investigate new media opportunities (Potential influencers, requesting industry to share our content, just anything to help with our exposure).

Assist with any other tasks as directed, ensuring flexibility and support across the team.

Key Expectations:

You'll work 5 days a fortnight (Tuesdays, Thursdays and every second Saturday), with the possibility of additional days to cover holidays. Effective time management is essential, and staying organised while planning social media content in advance will help maintain consistency.
Creativity is highly valued, especially when it comes to contributing ideas for social media content and ways to improve engagement.
Accuracy is essential in all tasks, from handling bookings to creating content, and it’s important that everything is done correctly and to a high standard.

Pay: From $33.19 per hour
