About the Role:
In this role, you will support Insight Early Learning's philosophy of Wisdom, Innovation, Sustainability, and Equity while working in a play-based learning environment.
You will be a team player who shows initiative, confidence, and a willingness to "play" and engage with children in their learning.
You will implement an approved learning framework and support the wellbeing, growth, and development of young children. This includes creating a safe, inclusive environment that values diversity and helps children build confidence, independence, and self-esteem.
A regular day in this role will include:
- Actively supervising and engaging with children in your care
- Supporting children's learning through play, exploration, and projects
- Monitoring children's health, nutrition, and hygiene, while providing care, emotional support, and guidance
- Working closely with the team to observe and document children's development and learning progress
- Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for both children and staff
- Being flexible to work across different rooms as needed
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Following the centre's philosophy, policies, and procedures
- Working closely with the Room Leader and/or Educational Leader to reflect on and improve the program
- Assisting with other duties as required
About You:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current and valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Experience in a similar role
- Warm, friendly, and caring personality
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to work with children across all age groups in the centre

Pay: $36.00 – $40.00 per hour
