Full Job Description

Global Contractor Management Solutions is on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated Installation Advisor! This role is responsible for managing mechanical or electrical contractors at wind turbine installation projects. This includes on-site logistics operations, supervision of commissioning or retrofit tasks, and achieving project schedules across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and motivate contractors to achieve project targets.
Interpret engineering drawings and manage QA documentation.
Implement site activity programs and work control systems.
Ensure compliance with Australian HSE requirements and standards.
Consult with engineers to ensure quality, environment, health, and safety standards are met.
Oversee wind turbine logistics, installation, and commissioning.
Maintain accurate records and report activity status.
Support project cost control and coordinate claims.
Communicate installation status and issues accurately.
Ensure compliance with company policies and EH&S systems.

Qualifications, Experience & Capabilities

Qualifications: Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Turner, Boilermaker, or Intermediate rigger with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in WTG installation. Training in OEM wind turbine erection, quality management, team supervision, health and safety management, lifting, rigging, and dogging is advantageous.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of wind turbine installation experience.
Capabilities: Excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, lead and motivate work groups, knowledge of construction site practices, ability to work in an international/cross-cultural environment, and implement processes and procedures.
