Housekeeper – Casual Position

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team. If you take pride in creating clean, comfortable spaces and enjoy working in a supportive environment, this role could be a great fit.

About the Role

As a Housekeeper, you will play an essential part in ensuring our guests enjoy a pleasant and relaxing stay. Your work directly contributes to the cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest experience at our motel.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to a high standard
Making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
Cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining room hygiene
Reporting maintenance issues or room damage promptly
Maintaining cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, reception areas, and outdoor spaces
Ensuring housekeeping supplies are stocked and organised
Following health, safety, and hygiene procedures
Assisting with general motel operations when required

Preferred Skills & Experience

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (motel/hotel experience highly regarded)
Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
Good time‑management skills and the ability to work efficiently
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Availability for a mix of weekday and weekend shifts
