Step into a dynamic and community focused role where no two days are the same. As a Recreation Facilities Officer, you’ll help bring recreation programs and sporting events to life supporting everything from bookings and logistics to on the ground delivery.
Working across both office and field-based environments, you’ll help ensure seamless bookings, strong stakeholder connections, and high-quality service delivery.
You’ll connect with local clubs, community groups, and colleagues to make things happen, all while enjoying a flexible lifestyle and being part of a supportive, down to earth team.
You'll work with a great team to :
Coordinate recreation programs, bookings, and sporting events to support community participation
Maintain booking systems, records, and data to ensure smooth and accurate service delivery
Support aquatic facilities through inspections, contractor coordination, and service monitoring
Build positive relationships with community groups, clubs, and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes
Provide responsive, high-quality customer service and assist with enquiries, issues, and event coordination
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Certificate IV in Recreation, Leisure Services, Business Administration or related discipline
Demonstrated experience in recreation program coordination, facility operations, customer service or community engagement
Strong customer service orientation with ability to engage effectively with diverse community groups and service users
Demonstrated high level communication and inter-personal skills with ability to resolve issues and coordinate stakeholder requirements
Demonstrated competence in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and database management systems

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $83,750 to $97,331.
