About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) join our Dubbo Community Mental Health team, providing high-quality, evidence-based care to consumers across the region.
The CNE works as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team that is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for consumers and their families. The role involves delivering acute mental health interventions within the community and collaborating closely with a broad range of health and community service providers.
The CNE will be responsible for providing compassionate, person-centred health care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams and will provide clinical teaching, orientation, skill accreditation and professional development support for all nursing staff and students.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians in a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, teamwork and continuous improvement are highly valued. A key aspect of the position is supporting the development of staff skills and contributing to a culture of clinical excellence. To be successful, you will possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong professional relationships and effectively network with services throughout Dubbo and the surrounding region.
Working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, this position offers a healthy work-life balance while providing the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people experiencing mental health challenges. You will be supported through ongoing supervision, professional support and a range of learning and development opportunities designed to help you further develop your skills and advance your career within Mental Health Services.
