About the Role:
Join the Speech Pathology team at Deniliquin Health Service as part of a dynamic, supportive multidisciplinary Allied Health team. This generalist, mixed caseload position spans both adult and paediatric areas, delivering inpatient, outpatient, and outreach services across Deniliquin, Moama, Barham, Finley, and surrounding communities, including via telehealth.
You'll assess, diagnose, and treat clients across the lifespan within a passionate and well-connected Speech Pathology network across MLHD. Formal supervision arrangements are in place, with additional opportunities for clinical shadowing at other MLHD sites.

Key Accountabilities:
Deliver patient-centred speech pathology services in line with professional, legal, and ethical standards
Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation including progress notes, care plans, and referrals
Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating cultural awareness and a commitment to Aboriginal health outcomes
Participate in clinical supervision, professional development, and quality improvement activities
Contribute to supervision of Allied Health Assistants and students; at Level 2, supervise Level 1 staff and lead guideline development
