Springside Kindergarten
Springside Kindergarten was established in 2009 to meet the growing needs of the Melton community. Located on the grounds of Springside Primary School, we are a sessional kindergarten providing high-quality early childhood education for children across both three and four-year-old programs.

About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and enthusiastic Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader to lead the day-to-day operations of Springside Kindergarten commencing in Term 4 2026.
This full-time, ongoing leadership position combines service management, regulatory oversight and team development. You will provide visible, practical leadership across the kindergarten while supporting educators through coaching, mentoring, professional learning and on-floor guidance.
Working closely with the Approved Provider and leadership team, you will oversee service operations, staffing, compliance and continuous improvement while ensuring Springside Kindergarten continues to deliver high-quality early childhood education.
This position is suited to an organised and capable early childhood professional with strong leadership skills, sound professional judgement and a genuine commitment to supporting quality practice across the service.

The Successful Applicant Will Have
- An ACECQA-approved early childhood teaching qualification
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration
- Eligibility and willingness to provide written consent to be appointed as the Nominated Supervisor
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management qualifications
- Current Mandatory Reporting and GECCKO training, or a willingness to complete any required training before commencement
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations, Child Safe Standards and relevant early childhood legislation
- Demonstrated experience in early childhood leadership, service operations and regulatory compliance
- The ability to coach, mentor and support educators to strengthen professional practice
- Strong organisational, communication and decision-making skills
- A commitment to child safety, inclusion, quality practice and continuous improvement
