- Process client payments accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate and well-structured financial records
- Assist with month-end processing including reconciliations and financial registers
- Assist with payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Liaise with the internal accounting team as required
- Ad hoc duties as required
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar financial role
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and accounting software such as Xero
- Experience managing multiple client files simultaneously in a practice environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines without close supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the building and construction industry is a significant advantage
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting, or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred) or equivalent practical experience
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities across a client portfolio
- Able to prioritise and manage workload without constant direction
- Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, based in Australia
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
