Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand / Foreman to lead a multi-level hotel project on the Gold Coast . You will take full ownership of the electrical package from early-stage rough-in through to final fit-off and commissioning.
In this hands-on leadership role , you will:
- Supervise and lead electricians on site
- Coordinate daily works, labour allocation, and materials
- Oversee installation of cable tray, conduits, wiring, and building services
- Manage rough-in, fit-off, and commissioning phases
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
- Liaise with builders, project managers, and other trades
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and site safety requirements
- Monitor project progress, quality, and deadlines
Mentor and guide electricians and apprentices

What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Proven experience as an Electrical Leading Hand or Foreman on commercial construction projects
- Strong background across multi-level builds (hotels, apartments, or similar)
- Current Electrical Licence (QLD)
- Ability to lead teams, drive productivity, and maintain quality standards
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and site safety requirements
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work hands-on while managing site operations
