About the Opportunity

If so, this is your opportunity to lead challenging and rewarding CI initiatives and to share the future of our business!

We have positions available at the Specialist and Senior Specialist level across Adelaide and Perth.

As a Continuous Improvement Specialist or Senior Specialist, you will be accountable for delivering complex CI initiatives and supporting the management and evolution of ASC’s CI function across the business. You will enhance the CI capability of ASC team members through expert analysis, support, consultation, and training services.

Responsibilities

Facilitate across the full CI lifecycle: identification, prioritisation, planning, development, execution, change management, and close.

Lead cross-functional teams, applying your deep expertise to the development, implementation, and measurement of CI projects.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and business growth through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration.

Utilising problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC, PDCA, 5 Whys and Fishbone Analysis to solve operational challenges.

Train, mentor, and support teams in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Senior Specialist only)

Support and maintain ASC’s CI framework and systems (Senior Specialist only).

Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing innovative ideas to improve business processes (Senior Specialist only).

About You

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a complex project environment at a CI specialist level or equivalent.

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Change Management, or related discipline.

Six Sigma Green Belt (Specialist level), Six Sigma Black Belt (Senior Specialist level)

Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to analyse complex business challenges and provide actionable solutions to business process problems.

Influencer and CI Mindset Change Agent - Promote a culture of CI across the organisation.

Demonstrated expertise in data analysis tools like Excel, PowerBI, Visio, and Minitab.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance. To check your eligibility, please visit the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency website.
