Located in the Gulf of Carpentaria, approximately 900 km southeast of Darwin and 64 km from Borroloola, we produce and process zinc, lead, and silver from our open-cut operation. Key Responsibilities:
Operate blast hole drill rigs in a safe and efficient manner
Execute drilling activities in line with drill plans and production schedules
Monitor ground conditions and adjust drilling parameters as required
Conduct pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks
Maintain accurate drilling logs and report any issues or hazards
Ensure compliance with site safety standards, procedures, and environmental requirements
Work collaboratively with blast crew, mining production, supervisors, and other site personnel
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience operating one or more of the following drill rigs: Epiroc D65, DML, Pit Viper, or
Experience on other drill rigs or heavy mining equipment considered highly transferable
Current Open Driver’s Licence (HR desirable)
Demonstrated experience in hard rock environments (highly regarded)
Strong understanding of drilling safety, hazard identification, and site procedures
Relevant RII competencies and/or training transcripts must be provided
Current RII for (highly regarded)

Telehandler
Ability to work effectively within a team and follow operational plans
