Position purpose
To provide fast, quality repairs to mobile phones, tablets, smart devices, computers, laptops and other hardware by working with a team of technicians.
Main tasks
Core objectives include:
- The repair (software and hardware) of mobile and computer devices by the arranged time
- Discussing, interpreting, analysing problems experienced by the customer regarding mobile phone and tablet technology
- To confidently work with microsoldering equipment
- Troubleshoot logic board level faults (level 3) using multimeter and related equipment to diagnose correct repairs and then perform said repairs
- Data recovery at the logic and motherboard level
- Troubleshoot modular component level faults (level 2) using diagnostic tools and execute electronic repairs using small tools and equipment.
- Responding to inquiries about software and hardware problems.
- Customer Service and Sales
Determine software and hardware problems and provide solutions to fixing them.
Adapting to the environment of working at a fast pace to fix existing problems with hardware and programs to meet to the users requirements and satisfaction .
Installing and downloading software.
Reassemble device to as new condition.
- Discuss pre and post repair with customers the service provided.
- Retail sales of mobile phone accessories and protection products
- Payment processing
- LCD screen Refurbishment using assembly line machines
- Accurate reporting of individual work order using in house computer software
- Implementing computer networks
- Organization of prioritization and timing of repairs
- Interact with customers in person, over the phone, via email and/or website chat
- Stock/Inventory control
- Fulfill daily tasks as found in corresponding daily checklist

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications
- Certificate, Advanced Diploma, Degree in any Technology industry. Or Three Years experience in the industry.
Experience
- Commercial or practical experience in mobile phone and computer repairs. Troubleshooting, modular components, micro-soldering, logic board level repair experience. Customer service experience.
