PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Undertake Maintenance and Operations of water and sewerage systems across major/minor centres and remote communities in the NT.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The “WHAT” to be delivered
Functional
• Deliver preventive and planned maintenance programs on mechanical assets in accordance with Power and Water policy and procedures.
- Repair, maintain, upgrade and operate assets for water, sewerage and effluent transfer and treatment systems.
- Perform tasks on assets to ensure availability/reliability and provide prompt response to system interruptions.
- Undertake maintenance activities to achieve time, budget, operational and quality objectives.
- Undertake operational activities when required including emergency response to unplanned events across regions.
- Participate in 24/7 callout arrangements on maintenance and operational rosters
- Provide maintenance and operational support to other regions across the Northern Territory as needed, including travel to minor centres
and remote locations when required.
