About the role:

As the successful applicant, you will deliver multimedia content and projects for educational purposes. This includes producing videos (inclusive of short form content), audio, graphic design, and interactive content for delivery via online platforms. This is a key role in a small but busy unit so excellent time management and the ability to prioritise is essential.

Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.

Your duties will include:

Produce and deliver video and multimedia content
Develop creative concepts, scripts and storyboards
Conduct video and photography shoots
Direct cast and crew in the unit's onsite studio and/or on location
Research and advise on the purchase of equipment and software to support evolving production techniques
Quality assurance on all multimedia products
Drive continuous improvement

About You:

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

Demonstrated experience in the production and post-production of projects
High level technical knowledge of production, post-production, design and audio software and equipment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proven ability to work both in a team environment, and autonomously as needed
Strong client service focus

Further Information:

One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
This position is located at Victoria Police Academy, 1 View Mount Road, Glen Waverley.
Tertiary qualification in multimedia production or digital media is highly desirable.
Relevant industry experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
