Brake press operator - Fabrication

About the company:

Australia's largest manufacturer of 4x4 accessories servicing the automotive and camping industries for 40+years. Brand name synonymous with quality and prestige in 4x4 with a worldwide presence and reputation in delivering the best in off-road and camping products.

We are looking for a keen,reliable factory hand who wants to learn the ropes of the sheet metal section of the business. This will include using machines such as brake press, laser, pipe and tube bender, robot welder to name a few and full training provided for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities:

Operating machines such as brake press, laser and pipe bender
Loading and unloading metal parts to and from the machines
Basic setting of machines with pre-ordered programs
Quality control and accurate working to order
Packing and logging of parts

Requirements

Key requirements:

Manufacturing and/or factory experience
Machinery dexterity
Self-motivated and adaptable
Keen to learn and upskill
Can work in a team
