About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mechanical Assembler / Storeperson to join our team. This dual role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, combining hands-on mechanical assembly with daily warehousing and store duties.

No prior experience in gearbox assembly is required—we provide full training! If you have a basic mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Workshop & Assembly:

Perform basic assembly work building industrial gearboxes (bench work and using a jib crane).
Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assembly tasks.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the assembly or packing process.

Warehousing & Stores:

Pick and pack parts accurately for orders and production.
Process warehouse paperwork using SAP (complete training will be provided).
Assist with physical tasks, including some heavy lifting.

Quality, Safety & Culture:

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (adhering to housekeeping and safety standards).
Follow all safety protocols and proactively report any hazards to the supervisor.
Work collaboratively within a team environment and follow structured instructions.

Job Requirements

Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude and capability with hand tools.
Core Abilities: Ability to read and write clearly, with excellent attention to detail.
Physical Fitness: Capable of fulfilling the physical demands of the role, including lifting and standing.
Teamwork: A positive attitude with the ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
Licences: A valid Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence are highly preferred.
Work Authorization: Must have full rights to work in Australia.
