Key responsibilities
Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, and turning centres) to manufacture precision components according to technical specifications and drawings
Develop, create and test CNC programmes using CAM software and manual programming techniques
Set up and configure CNC machines, including tool changers, fixtures and work-holding devices
Monitor machine operations to ensure components meet dimensional accuracy, surface finish and quality requirements
Perform routine maintenance, tool changes and adjustments to optimise machine performance
Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres and gauges
Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machine-related issues to minimise downtime
Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine parameters and quality data
· Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work environment
Pay: $45.00 – $49.00 per hour
