- This vacancy is in part for parental leave relief and other department leave relief, for an initial period of up to 26 weeks for 32hrs per week. The hours and period of employment may change according to the leave requirements. There is also the possibility of an extension at same / reduced hours.
Remuneration as a Senior Specialist will be considered and is subject to CE Approval.

About the role
Tweed Valley Hospital is seeking a Specialist General Paediatrician to provide contemporary comprehensive specialist General Paediatric services for optimal patient outcomes at the Network Hospitals including, Inpatient Services, Outpatient Clinics, Hospital in the Home and Consultancy where applicable for optimal patient outcomes delivering a healthy community through quality care. The successful applicant will also provide clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities and provide training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.
