Full Job Description

Excavator Operator – NBN Civil Works

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Excavator Operator to join our civil construction team working on NBN infrastructure projects. This role involves trenching, conduit installation, and general excavation works across multiple sites.

You will be operating in a fast-paced environment supporting fibre optic and telecommunications upgrades. Work will include both metro and regional locations, and may require working away from home from time to time.

The ideal candidate will be confident operating excavators in tight and service-heavy areas, have a strong safety focus, and be able to work effectively as part of a small crew.

Key requirements:

Valid Excavator Ticket (VOC preferred)
White Card (Construction Induction)
Experience in civil or NBN works preferred
Ability to read site set-out and follow plans
Willingness to travel and work away when required
Strong work ethic and reliability
