Full Job Description

Casual Steel Fabricator

We are a structural steel fabrication company based in Cranbourne and are looking for Casual Steel Fabricators to join our growing team.

This role involves fabricating high-quality structural steel components in our workshop. Casual hours are available Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for additional weekend work when required.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate structural steel components according to fabrication drawings, including assembly and welding.
Process structural steel components, including cutting, drilling, and preparation.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Operate workshop machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble steel components.
Check drawings and specifications before commencing fabrication.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Experience in structural steel fabrication and plate work.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
Experience with structural steel fabrication and welding.
Previous installation experience is an advantage but not essential.
Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
