Join Our Team for a Regular Wednesday Sleepover Shift (6:00 PM – 10:00 AM)

Aussie Life Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Female Disability Support Worker to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Cranbourne, VIC.

This position offers a consistent weekly Wednesday sleepover shift, commencing Wednesday at 6:00 PM and concluding Thursday at 10:00 AM. If you are passionate about supporting people with complex care needs and are looking for a regular ongoing shift, we would love to hear from you.

Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes provide safe, welcoming, and supportive environments where participants can develop daily living skills, achieve their goals, and live as independently as possible.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to participants with complex support needs while promoting their independence, dignity, health, and wellbeing.

Regular Shift:

Monday 6:00 PM - 10:00 AM (Sleepover)
Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 10:00 AM (Sleepover)

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
Experience supporting participants with challenging behaviours
Experience supporting individuals with dysphagia
Stoma care experience
Complex bowel management experience
Wound management experience
Experience using VPAP
Experience with MACE
Availability to commit to the ongoing weekly Wednesday sleepover shift
