As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Trainer / Team Leader to ride this crazy, but exciting growth train with us!
You will be part of a supportive and passionate team here at MAX, where we support our students on their learning journey to continue enriching their lives.
You and your team will play a key part in the learning experiences of our students and be part of the successful delivery of the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) and the AMEP programs.
Deliver language, literacy, numeracy & digital skills training
Make a difference in our students lives by improving their skills, knowledge and confidence through effective training and assessment
Use your experience to engage the team and our students, using your successful learning techniques and maintain a student-centred approach
Identify barriers to learning to support student attendance and involvement
Bring learning to life for students by using different forms of communication to gain positive outcomes
Conduct pre-training assessments and implement training to meet contract requirements
Australian Standard TESOL qualifications
Experience leading a team
Ability to work with a diverse range of people
Be a driven, supportive and community minded person, working with learners and in some regions, non-English speakers to support them in building future opportunities for themselves through learning
Able to motivate and upskill jobseekers to improve their LLN skills to complete education and gain employment
Have the capacity and desire to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment at any given time
Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational area
Qualifications:
OR
An undergraduate degree with a post graduate qualification in TESOL or equivalent qualifications or willingness to complete a post graduate qualification in TESOL
Knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework preferred
