- Experience with MIG, TIG and laser welding
- Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes
- Drivers Licence - Essential
- Forklift Licence - Desirable
As Sheet Metal Fabricator, you are responsible for quality welding and general sheet metal fabrication which also includes operating sheet metal machinery including punching, bending and clinching machinery in the factory, assembly of products, packing and dispatching goods and general maintenance and cleanliness of the factory facility, all within our LEAN and QMS procedures.
Position Responsibilities
- Welding of sheet metal products with MIG, TIG and Laser Welders
- Operate all sheet metal machinery including:
- Turret Punch presses
- Press Brakes
- Panel Benders
- Clinching machinery
- Linishing
- Assembling products
- Packing and dispatching products
- Ensuring your work area is orderly, clean, neat & tidy at all times
- Ensuring you comply with all OH&S responsibilities
- Provide feedback to the production manager as to the status of your workload and completion level.
- Using your initiative to identify and suggest new and improved ways to operate within the factory.
- Escalate issues to management should you be dissatisfied with the results of your feedback.
- Delivery of goods as required.

Pre-Requisites for Position
- Welding qualifications and/or experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Common Sense
- Practical approach to problem solving
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Driver's Licence
- Forklift Licence
