About the role
We are seeking an experienced Theatre & Recovery Registered Nurse. You will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team in a surgical setting, working under the direction of the attending surgeon and supervision of the Nursing Unit Manager to support and provide quality pre, intra and post operative care for patients.
You will have previous experience working in Day Stay and Operating Theatres as well as a Scrub and/or Circulating Nurse. Experience as Anaesthetic Nurse or willingness to work towards Anaesthetic competency would be desirable and the ability to work flexible hours Monday – Friday, with the potential to do on call.
You will be willing to work in other wards of the hospital if required as directed by your manager.
Cowra Health Service underwent redevelopment in 2025, offering state of the art facilities. It is a procedural hospital with 30 beds including 24 hour emergency care, acute, subacute /non-acute inpatient services including medical, surgical rehabilitation, maternity and palliative care, diagnostic services outpatient services and community health care services.
Cowra is located 310 kms from Sydney, 92 kms south west of Orange, 110kms south west of Bathurst and just over two hours from the Nation's capital, Canberra.
