Corrosion Technician

Location: Lytton - Queensland

Full Time - Permanent

Corrosion Control Engineering is Australasia’s largest corrosion prevention engineering company, utilising cathodic protection and material selection to protect buried or immersed metallic structures from corrosion including pipelines, wharves, jetties, storage tanks, and offshore assets.

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? CCE is on the lookout for a motivated Corrosion Technician to join our dynamic Queensland team, based at our Lytton office.

Whether you're just starting out or experienced in corrosion control with a background in cathodic protection or related fields, we want to hear from you! We value a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a drive to grow we'll support your development every step of the way.

Technician Responsibilities include:

· Conduct field audits, pipeline surveys (DCVG/CIPS), routine testing, installation, and routine maintenance.

· Commission cathodic protection systems.

· Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and implement necessary repairs and improvements.

· Keep accurate records of all work performed and submit detailed reports.

Requirements:

· Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have equivalent working rights in Australia.

· Previous experience in cathodic protection, corrosion control, or a related field is highly regarded (but not essential).

· Excellent communications skills.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.

· Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office.

· A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
