Level Up Psychology is a growing psychology practice supporting children, adolescents, adults and families across Melbourne. We are a values-led team committed to being humble, innovative, empathetic, responsive and agile in the way we work with clients, families, clinicians and community partners.
We are looking for a capable and highly organised Growth & Programs Assistant to support our marketing, referral engagement and program-development activity.
This is a hands-on support role suited to someone who enjoys writing, organising, using digital tools and helping good ideas become well-executed projects.
You will support the Director and clinical team with day-to-day growth and program activities, including content coordination (alongside existing social media contractors), campaign support, referral partner administration, event logistics, reporting and maintaining marketing/program resources.
This is not a senior marketing strategy or management role. You will be given direction and priorities, but we are looking for someone who can then work with care, initiative and good judgement.
You will assist with:
- Drafting routine content for newsletters, website updates, event materials and partner communications.
- Scheduling and publishing approved content across email, website and other agreed channels.
- Supporting marketing campaigns for services, group programs, school professional development and recruitment.
- Maintaining referral partner databases, including schools, GPs, paediatricians, allied health providers and community organisations.
- Sending approved outreach communications and managing RSVPs for events or professional development sessions.
- Coordinating basic logistics for webinars, school PD sessions, open days, community stalls or partner events.
- Maintaining templates, approved messaging, photography, graphics and program materials.
- Pulling basic reports from platforms such as website analytics, email marketing tools, social platforms or Halaxy, using established templates.
- Supporting contractors such as designers, videographers or SEO providers by tracking tasks, deadlines and deliverables.
- Applying brand guidelines and health advertising checklists before submitting content for review.
- Helping the team improve simple systems, templates and workflows over time.
You will likely be a good fit if you are:
- A strong writer with excellent grammar, tone and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using digital tools such as Canva, Mailchimp or similar email platforms, Google Workspace, social media tools and spreadsheets.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple small tasks without losing track of details.
- Able to follow a brief, ask sensible questions and escalate when something feels unclear or higher risk.
- Warm, professional and reliable when communicating with clinicians, referrers, schools, families or contractors.
- Interested in psychology, mental health, education, healthcare or child and adolescent wellbeing.
- Careful with confidentiality, privacy and professional boundaries.
Required:
- Current or willingness to obtain an Employee Working with Children Check.
- Experience or study in marketing, communications, media, digital marketing, administration, project coordination or a related area.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Confidence learning new systems and technology.
- Ability to liaise with external stakeholders with enthusiasm, positivity and professionalism
Highly regarded, but not essential:
- A health-related degree or current study in psychology, counselling, social work, occupational therapy, speech pathology, education, health sciences, public health or a related field.
- Experience in healthcare, allied health, education or professional services.
- Familiarity with Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Halaxy or similar platforms.
- Basic design, photography or short-form video editing skills.
- An interest in ethical, accurate and sensitive mental health communication.
- A meaningful role in a growing psychology practice.
- Flexible part-time hours, initially 1-2 days per week.
- Clear priorities and support from the Director.
- Opportunity to contribute to marketing, programs, partnerships and community education.
- A warm, values-led team environment.
- Scope to grow with the role as the practice develops.
