We’re looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Accountant to join our high-performing Finance team at our global headquarters in Kilsyth. This is an opportunity to work closely with manufacturing operations and play a key role in driving performance, cost insight, and business improvement. This is a diverse, fast-paced position where you’ll partner closely with operations and provide critical financial insights to support decision-making across the plant.
You’ll get involved in everything from product costing and KPI reporting through to identifying efficiencies and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse manufacturing performance through KPIs, trends, and variance analysis
- Support plant reporting, including factory rates and cost insights
- Maintain and review Bills of Materials (BOMs), times, and rates
- Investigate and resolve product cost queries
- Contribute to forecasting and manufacturing reporting
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, BAS, and FBT
- Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance and Operations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes:
- Experience in manufacturing, cost or plant accounting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with large datasets
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Exposure to ERP systems (JDE highly regarded)
