About the Role
We now have a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic casual Swim School Instructors to join Cockburn ARC and support our community through engaging swim lessons, water safety education and outstanding customer service.
Reporting to the Swim School Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering safe, inclusive and engaging swimming lessons, supporting student progression and fostering a positive learning environment.
About you
We're seeking motivated and reliable team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are dedicated to delivering safe, engaging and inclusive swimming lessons.
Besides demonstrated experience, you’ll need to have:
- Experience in delivering quality aquatic instruction, teaching techniques and lesson planning and student assessment
- Skills in managing students of various ages and abilities in an aquatic learning environment
- Knowledge of pool supervision requirements and water safety
- Current Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualifications
- Current Teacher of Infant and Preschool aquatics or willingness to attain
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- A friendly and engaging nature.

Salary and Benefits: $40.35 per hour inclusive of 25% loading as per the City of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025.
