Position Overview:
As a key member of our hospitality team, the wait staff role at Cornerstone Pizzeria is crucial to ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience. The primary focus is on customer service, with responsibilities ranging from taking orders to delivering an elevated standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service Excellence:
- Engage with customers warmly, take orders, and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and English language skills to ensure seamless interactions with diverse clientele.
- Familiarise yourself with our authentic Italian menu, addressing customer inquiries and accommodating dietary requirements with proficiency.
- Collaborate with management to ensure accurate order execution and resolve any customer concerns promptly.
2. Food and Beverage Operations:
- Efficiently run food and drinks to designated tables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor and address any additional needs of customers, enhancing their overall satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to streamline service processes.
- Serve and make cocktails, coffee and other drinks.
3. Cleaning and Stock Management:
- Take pride in maintaining a clean and organised restaurant and bar area.
- Undertake stock-related duties, including restocking supplies and ensuring optimal inventory levels.
- Contribute to the seamless setting up and clearing of tables, enhancing the overall ambiance of the restaurant.
4. Schedule Flexibility:
- Embrace a flexible schedule, predominantly evenings and weekend day shifts.
- Provide advance notice (1-2 weeks) to management for any unavailability, demonstrating commitment to team coordination.
