The Opportunity
AAPM is seeking a motivated and reliable Stores & Procurement Officer to join our Dingley facility. This is a 8-month full-time contract position, with the possibility of extension or the role becoming permanent, ideal for someone looking to build a career in aviation logistics and stores within a regulated maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities

Ensuring stores are operated in compliance with AAPM Part 145 MOE’s and CASA/EASA regulatory requirements

Purchasing commercial and aircraft parts in support of company operations.

Receipt, issue, storage, packaging, and dispatch of aircraft parts and non-aircraft items

Updating electronic inventory systems for receipting, issuing, and disposal of items
-
Maintaining appropriate stock levels and carry out stock takes as required

Incoming inspection of components and materials, including conformity checks against delivery requirements

Identify and propose improvements to stores processes and procedures

Promote workplace safety by identifying hazards and reporting issues beyond your area of control

Perform other reasonable duties as directed by the supervisor
Selection Criteria

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge of aircraft components or aviation maintenance environments (advantageous but not essential)

Prior stores or warehouse experience (advantageous but not essential)

Current Driver’s Licence (manual)

Current Forklift Licence (essential)

Applicant must have full working rights in Australia
