Salary: $67,979 p.a. (pro rata) plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits – AHA2
- This role attracts a fixed allowance that ensures a minimum salary equivalent to AHA2 (third increment) pro-rated, based on the Undertaking as within the Allied Health Professionals, Assistants and Psychologists Enterprise Agreement 2025.

What You'll Be Contributing To
As an Allied Health Assistant within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN), you'll work under the direct supervision of qualified allied health clinicians to deliver patient-centred care to older adults across the geriatric service at Modbury Hospital. Your day-to-day will include:
Assisting occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech pathologists in delivering therapeutic programs
Supporting patients with functional activities, exercises, and mobility programs as directed by your supervising clinician
Contributing to discharge planning activities and equipment preparation
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and communicating patient progress to the treating team
What You'll Bring
A Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent qualification recognised by SA Health)
Experience or demonstrated understanding of working with older adults in a clinical or community setting
The ability to follow clinical instructions accurately and escalate concerns appropriately within an interdisciplinary team
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to person-centred, culturally safe care
Current national police clearance and evidence of required immunisations in line with NALHN policy
A Current Driver's Licence may be required depending on service needs
To be eligible for this position, you must hold or be undertaking a Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent

In this role you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will enable you to successfully problem solve, resolve conflicts and negotiate, including the ability to engage in difficult conversations, whilst building and maintaining relationships. An ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and competing priorities and demonstrated resilience within a stressful and complex environment is essential to this role.
