Full Job Description

The Company

Early Bird Therapy provides high-quality allied health services for young children with developmental delays or disabilities. Based in Fyshwick, our team works to empower families and build the skills of the children that we see. Early Bird Therapy is a registered provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

The Role

We’re looking for a person with exceptional qualities to join our administration team either full-time or four days per week as an administration assistant.

The role includes various administration tasks/duties such as:

General office tasks
Responding to client phone and email enquiries
Maintaining client files
Ordering supplies
Liaising with clients, families, and therapists in a friendly and supportive manner
Tidying of clinic and office spaces
Booking and organising appointments
Managing a waiting list
Sending invoices and receipting eftpos payments

Selection Criteria

Our ideal candidate will have:

Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail
A positive, highly organised and pro-active attitude
An interest in working with children and families - genuinely enjoys spending time around children and their families
A warm and friendly personality
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritise, and problem solve
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Teams
Excellent communication skills, including a professional phone and email manner
A Working With Vulnerable People check (or ability to obtain one if successful)
