Summary:

As a Multiskilled Support Worker in Chittering, Western Australia, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need. This temporary, casual position is essential for enhancing the well-being and independence of our clients, ensuring they receive the assistance required to lead fulfilling lives. Your contributions will directly impact the community, making a significant difference in the lives of those you support.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of social care.

Qualifications:

Certificate IV in Disability or Aged Care (or equivalent qualification).
Previous experience in a support worker role or similar position is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle may be required.
