CAFE CHEF - Full Time⁠ ⁠

We are looking for a permanent chef to work in our fast-paced kitchen and join our friendly cafe team. This role is primarily needed for the cold larder and dessert section of the kitchen.

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to support candidates who require visa sponsorship.

In this role, you will:

Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast and lunch dishes in accordance with our menu specifications
Maintain the highest food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Be responsible for your station while actively communicating with the kitchen team
Collaborate with the kitchen team to create an efficient workflow and provide timely service
Work to a 4-week rotating roster with one weekend off per month, daytime shifts only with no nights ⁠ ⁠

The ideal candidate will:

Possess a broad range of skills and excellent attention to detail
Be passionate about cooking with fresh, local produce
Work well under pressure and with a sense of urgency
Demonstrate excellent initiative and the ability to multi-task
Have experience in a similar cafe environment
Have experience in A la carte service and cold larder

Bonus if you have experience preparing cafe-style cakes, pastries and more!
