Senior Clinician - Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs (MHAOD) Integration

Are you an experienced clinician passionate about integrated care and improving outcomes for people experiencing co-occurring mental health and alcohol and other drug challenges?
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Clinician - Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs (MHAOD) Integration to join our Mental Health & Wellbeing and Alcohol and Other Drugs Directorate.
As a valued member of the MHAOD Integration Team, you will work collaboratively with Mental Health clinicians and specialist AOD practitioners to support the delivery of integrated treatment, care and support for consumers experiencing mental ill health, psychological distress and alcohol and other drug use or dependence. You will also play a key role in supporting families, carers and multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Unencumbered registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist, or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
For Registered Nurses, postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing, completion of a specialist undergraduate psychiatric nursing program, and/or other relevant qualifications.
A minimum of five years' discipline-specific professional experience, consistent with the relevant EBA classification.
Advanced clinical skills and demonstrated experience in the assessment and treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to person-centred, recovery-oriented care.

Mental Health Services at Albury Wodonga Health
AWH is an Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, providing mental health treatment, care and support, including delivering Alcohol and Other Drugs services. We deliver 10 specialised community-based programs, along with three acute care services and three facilities dedicated to recovery and rehabilitation. We also provide services supporting families coping with parental mental illness and facilitating connections to carer consultants.
Our Mental Health and Wellbeing teams comprise mental health clinicians with a background in nursing, occupational therapy, social work, and psychology, all of whom have experience in helping people through a range of therapies. The diversity of our service provides a range of experiences for our team and will assist you in expanding and embedding your clinical practice skills.
