About the Role:
We are offering a hands-on internship for a motivated Accounting Intern looking to gain practical experience in tax and business services accounting. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in real-world accounting tasks and learn from experienced professionals in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist Senior Accountant/Manager in preparing Tax Workpapers, Bookkeeping and Payroll processing
Support the preparation of financial reports, various statements, updating asset registers for clients
Communicating with clients and answering client queries, accounts receivable etc.
Communicating with ATO and other government agencies on various matters
Other office administrative duties.

Skills & Qualifications:

Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Accounting.
Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB)
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Good communication and teamwork skills
