About the role:
The Quality Improvement Manager is responsible for leading organisational quality improvement, systems review, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives to support safe, effective and compliant service delivery. The role oversees the development, implementation and enhancement of quality systems, organisational improvement projects, reporting frameworks and operational initiatives that strengthen service delivery, efficiency and organisational performance.
The role is responsible for evaluating organisational systems, workflows and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure quality frameworks are practical, effective and embedded across all service areas. This includes leading projects that improve system functionality, streamline processes and support evidence-informed decision making.
Success in this role requires a highly capable leader with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in client management systems and quality improvement, and the ability to influence change across multiple service areas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate project leadership capability, strong stakeholder engagement skills and a commitment to fostering innovation, accountability and continuous learning throughout the organisation.
What you will be doing:
In this role, you will:

Lead implementation and ongoing improvement of the organisation’s Quality Management Framework to support compliance, service quality and operational effectiveness.

Monitor organisational performance indicators and identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.

Analyse information from audits, complaints, incidents, stakeholder feedback and service outcomes to inform quality initiatives.

Develop reports and performance summaries that support operational and strategic decision-making.

Promote continuous improvement methodologies and embed a culture of learning and quality practice.

Lead reviews of organisational systems, workflows and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, duplication and improvement opportunities.

Support implementation and embedding of new systems, technologies and business improvements.

Support organisational preparedness for audits, accreditation and external review processes.

Oversee review and continuous improvement of policies, procedures and operational frameworks.

Build organisational capability through coaching and support regarding quality systems, continuous improvement and organisational change.
About you:
To be successful, you will bring:

Current Queensland Class C Driver’s Licence.
-
NDIS Worker Screening Check or current Yellow Card and Blue Card.
-
Relevant qualification or experience in quality or system improvement.
-
Extensive knowledge of client management and quality systems.
-
Relevant experience in quality management, reporting or organisational performance within community services or related sectors.

Demonstrated experience leading quality systems, organisational improvement initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

Experience using quality management systems, reporting platforms and organisational systems.

Strong capability in systems review, process mapping and improvement methodologies.

Project management skills including planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.

Advanced organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable:

Experience within community services, aged care, mental health or social services sectors.

Advanced knowledge of AlayaCare, ionMy and Lexis Nexis.
