Ramsay Clinic New Farm – Brisbane, QLD
We are excited to offer Psychiatry Registrar training opportunities at Ramsay Clinic New Farm, with six-month placements commencing in August 2026, February 2027 and August 2027.
Join a supportive and collaborative mental health team while gaining valuable experience across a range of specialised services.
Registrar rotations are available in:

Acute Adult Psychiatry and Trauma (Veterans)
These full-time, fixed-term positions (76 hours per fortnight) provide excellent training exposure in a highly regarded private mental health service. Best of all, no after-hours work is required, supporting a healthy work–life balance.
Positions are accredited training roles with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, offering valuable experience for doctors pursuing a career in psychiatry.

About the role
Our comprehensive training program addresses all the requirements of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists whilst providing relevant and extensive experience in Inpatients, Outpatients and Day patients.
Ramsay Health runs a highly regarded speciality rotation program covering all aspects of the training requirements for Acute Adult Psychiatry and Trauma (Veterans). Positions would also be suitable for trainees wanting to undertake advanced training in Psychotherapy. You will have the opportunity to work with and be supervised by leading experts in the specialists’ fields.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:

Successful completion of a medical degree

Current APHRA Medical Registration
-
Ideal for stage 3 trainees looking to transition into Private Practice

Eligibility to obtain APHRA general Medical registration by the commencement date
