The Vault Coffee Group PTY LTD trading as Oporto is seeking a full-time Fast Food Manager to support the daily operations of its Oporto store in Wyong, NSW.
The Fast Food Manager will be responsible for organising, supervising and controlling the daily operations of the store during rostered shifts. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining customer service and food quality standards, monitoring stock, supporting sales performance, maintaining operational records, and ensuring the store operates in accordance with Oporto procedures, food safety requirements and workplace health and safety obligations.
As the most senior person in charge of the store during rostered shifts, the Fast Food Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the business, including staff supervision, service delivery, product quality, stock control and compliance with operational standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties of the Fast Food Manager include, but are not limited to:
· Organising and supervising the daily operations of the Oporto store during rostered shifts.
· Supervising, directing and supporting team members to ensure efficient service delivery and smooth store operations.
· Allocating duties to staff, monitoring performance and ensuring team members complete tasks in accordance with store procedures.
· Assisting with the selection, training, rostering and ongoing supervision of staff.
· Ensuring customer service standards are maintained and addressing customer enquiries, complaints and service issues professionally.
· Monitoring food preparation, product quality, presentation and speed of service to ensure compliance with Oporto brand standards.
· Determining and monitoring stock levels, including food, packaging, cleaning products and other operational supplies.
· Assisting with stock ordering, stock rotation, inventory control and minimising wastage.
· Maintaining records of stock levels, wastage, daily sales, cash handling and other financial or operational transactions.
· Supporting store budgeting and cost control by monitoring labour usage, stock wastage, sales performance and operational expenses.
· Implementing store promotions, marketing initiatives and product campaigns in accordance with Oporto procedures.
· Ensuring store pricing, product displays, menu boards and promotional material are accurate and up to date.
· Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, occupational health and safety and workplace procedures.
· Conducting shift handovers and reporting operational issues, staffing concerns, stock shortages or maintenance matters to senior management.
· Opening and closing the store where required, including cash reconciliation, security checks and end of day procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
· AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma, or at least three years of relevant experience.
· At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a relevant fast food, retail, hospitality or quick service restaurant position.
· Experience supervising staff and managing daily store or shift operations.
· Strong customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to manage staff, stock, service standards and compliance requirements during busy trading periods.
· Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
· Ability to maintain accurate operational, stock and financial records.
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
